Stretching at work has to be discreet, compact and fast. We need something that does all three.

These ideas will certainly help you do precisely that.


Scenario one: Standing up From Your Desk


You have to stand up from your desk to go to the restroom, what do you do?

Instead of just standing up, place your hands on your desk and use them to press you up.

However the trick here is to lead with your back. Prior to you even begin utilizing your legs, press your pull back from your hands - at the bottom or top of the back depending upon where it hurts most. Hold this back position as you press with your legs and arms, up until you're totally standing.

You've simply done a 5 2nd back stretch. Without anybody observing.

Now picture the number of of these 5 second stretches you will get each time you stand up in the day.

Scenario Two: Flexing Down to Choose Something Up

Things to bear in mind are:

- Keep your stretching movements sluggish and smooth

- Breathe through your stretches - breathing out as you go through the main stretch (but undoubtedly do not discharge big groans as if you're rising!).


- Short, frequent stretches are much better than 1 long one. I recommend doing this every number of hours, even if it means 'comprising' factors to bend down or stand up from your seat. Your boss won't notice if it's brief.

There we go, 2 little methods to use daily life to stretch at work without even seeming like you're stretching. These little regular stretches will certainly have a significant increase to your wellness.
